On A Mission from God
Billy Graham shares a letter to the church in the Mission of God Study Bible, which Ed Stetzer republished on his blog. You can read the entire letter here.
In short, Graham answers the question of why God leaves us on earth. If eternal salvation is the plan, why can’t we skip to the end?
God leaves us here because He has a mission for us to fulfill. We aren’t here by accident; neither are we here simply to enjoy the good things life has to offer. We are here because God put us here, and He has a sovereign purpose in keeping us here.
